Creatures of Science LLC is dedicated to creating a secure and compassionate haven for animals that have been abandoned, surrendered by their owners, or face euthanasia due to overcrowded shelters or behavioral challenges. Our primary focus is on dogs and cats, with a long-term vision to extend our care to other animals in need. We firmly believe that our beloved pets, much like humans, deserve second chances, rehabilitation, and a safe forever home.

Addressing the Issue:

Shelter Animals Count reports that in the first half of 2025, approximately 2.8 million cats and dogs entered animal shelters and rescues across the United States. During this same period, an estimated 1.9 million animals were adopted into homes, demonstrating the lifesaving impact of adoption efforts nationwide. Despite this progress, approximately 290,000 animals were euthanized in the first half of the year, often due to overcrowding, limited resources, or circumstances beyond the animals’ control. While intake numbers have declined slightly compared to the previous year, shelters and rescues continue to face significant challenges related to space, staffing, and access to veterinary care. These realities highlight the ongoing need for community support, responsible pet ownership, and expanded adoption and prevention initiatives to ensure more animals can remain in safe, loving homes.

Our Vision:

At Creatures of Science LLC, our mission is to support the well-being of pets in need by working alongside animal shelters and rescue organizations. We are committed to assisting these organizations through the donation of essential supplies—such as food, toys, bedding, and other critical items—based on their specific needs. In addition, as new shelter or rescue locations are established, we strive to support and sponsor these efforts through meaningful partnerships. Through ongoing collaboration and community involvement, we aim to help improve outcomes for animals and contribute to a more compassionate future for pets.
